Theme park simulation game Planet Coaster has a big spring update coming on April 11th that’s bringing new rides, crime and security features. Frontier Developments has announced another change that’s coming with the 1.2 Spring Update and it’s for blueprints. Get ready for more creativity and more convenience as blueprints get a serious improvement. Take a look at what these changes will look like in the video below.

Blueprints will be doubling in size! That’s right after the spring update the maximum amount of pieces that will fit on a blueprint will expand from 2,000 to 4,000. This means more scenery in your designs and more interesting rides.

This also means that flat rides can be included in blueprints including their entrance and exit stations. The extra size will facilitate another convenient design saving feature as well. Include up to five rides in a blueprint so that an entire section of your park can be saved just the way you like it. This will make saving your creations to the Steam Workshop so much better.

Another change coming to flat rides is that they can now be part of a multi-selection allowing players to move them around with scenery and buildings. When these changes are implemented there will be less frustrating fiddling with placing your designs and they’ll be easier to share.  You can read more about the other previously announced changes coming with the update here.

Frontier Developments revealed all sorts of cool new content at PAX, you can see it here. If you haven’t tried the game out for yourself yet check out TechRaptor’s review. We gave it a score of “Great” or 8.5/10. The 1.2 Spring Update for Planet Coaster will be available on April 11, 2017.
