Ubisoft studio Blue Byte released a trailer for their new RTS Anno 1800 at the PC Gaming Show at E3 2018. Afterwards the game director joined the stage to talk about the game and how it was inspired by life in the 19th century. The Anno series started with Anno 1602: Creation of a New World in 1998 and has had several sequels since then, showing a great evolution over the years. Anno 1800 was announced at Gamescom 2017, and will be a return to the past after a period of futuristic games since Anno 1404 from 2009. It will include a story-based mode, a sandbox mode with customization and multiplayer functionality.
Anno 1800 is due to release later this year.
