The Overwatch Havana Patch has brought a brand-new map to the game's public test realm. Havana first debuted as part of the new mission for this year's Overwatch Archives titled Storm Rising. Storm Rising sees players heading down to Cuba to chase Talon's money man Maximillian. Now the map is being made available for players to enjoy in a more standard gameplay mode.

As is typical with these maps, the Overwatch Havana patch will have the map available on the public test realm for a couple of weeks at the minimum. It may end up being in testing for a longer period depending on how the development of the map pans out. Blizzard World currently holds the record for the longest time on the PTR at nearly two months in total.
Havana is an Escort map, meaning that players will have to move a payload along a predetermined track to several points. The map will see the attacking team start off at the Taller de Sebastián, a neighborhood filled with classic cars outfitted with some futuristic twists. A payload of rum barrels will be escorted until you reach the Don Rumbotico rum distillery in the middle of the map. Finally, players will end up at the Havana Sea Fort to close out the map.
