(And 200 Overwatch League Tokens, Too)

Update September 30th: The offer to get Overwatch free on PC has been closed down due to "high demand." Anyone who managed to fill out the form in time should receive their code within 24 hours.

Our original story continues below.

You can finally get Overwatch free on PC, nearly four and a half years after the game first launched. Players who jump on this offer will also secure themselves 200 Overwatch League tokens, but it won't be as easy as you might hope.

Gaming industry tweeter @Wario64 reports on an offer where players can secure themselves a free digital copy of Blizzard Entertainment's first-person shooter Overwatch on the PC. This offer also includes 200 Overwatch League tokens, a premium currency that is used to buy unique cosmetics centered on the Esports league.

Notably, Blizzard has just launched two premium skins for the 2020 Overwatch League All-Stars Games, one for Reinhardt and one for D.Va. These two tanky heroes serve as the mascots for both of the All-Stars teams and their new skins just so happen to cost 200 tokens. That means that claiming this deal will also net you one of these high-quality premium skins for free!

How Do I Get Overwatch Free on PC?

If you want to get Overwatch free on PC, you're going to have to fill out a form on the Boston Uprising's Overwatch League page. Once that's complete, you should get a code for the game within 72 hours. There are, however, some caveats to the deal.

People who get this promotion must be at least 13 years of age. There are no console codes available. No current owners of Overwatch on PC can get this offer — if you were hoping to score some free Overwatch League tokens as an existing player, you're out of luck.

One of the most important facts, however, is noted in the Official Promotion Rules for those of you who want to get Overwatch free on PC. The number of free copies are limited and they will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you don't act fast, you may miss out!

Do you think this Overwatch giveaway will cause a flood of new players into the game? What do you think of the new Overwatch League skins? Let us know in the comments below!

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
