During the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour Livestream, Bandai Namco had a couple of interesting announcements for video game fans.

First of all, a new Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi (Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! in Japan) has been announced. No platforms or dates were mentioned, but we heard that the game is in the early stage of development, so it's likely going to take a while to hear more.

If the name doesn't ring a bell, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi is a series of fighting games that debuted on PS2 in 2005. It was followed by a sequel in 2006 and a third game that also launched on the Wii in 2007. A fourth game titled Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team was launched in 2010 for PSP.

Below you can take a look at a trailer recorded by YouTube user RajmanGaming HD. Do keep in mind that the number "4" was not mentioned.

Another announcement came for fans of card games. Bandai is working on the Digital Version of the Dragon Bal Super Card Game. While no specific information was mentioned about the platform, a beta on PC will be hosted between March 25 and March 26. Signups are already open on the official website.

12,000 entrants will be selected for the beta and the deadline for registration is March 13, 2023. The test is open exclusively to residents of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, and Italy and those who have been selected will be notified by March 21.

Below you can see a trailer showing off the game in action.

Bandai Namco has been quite successful in publishing games inspired by the Dragon Ball franchise by Akira Toriyama, the latest, Dragon Ball: The Breakers, just entered its second season
