We now have a release date for Dragon Ball: The Breakers Season 2, as well as an idea of the content the new season will bring with it. You'll be able to play as a brand new Raider, who you'll definitely recognize if you're a fan of Dragon Ball, and there are new Survivor skins and items to look forward to as well.
In a new Dragon Ball: The Breakers trailer, Bandai Namco shows off Vegeta, the game's new Raider. Vegeta's eventual goal is to transform into the legendary and powerful Great Ape, which you'll be able to do if you manage to complete your objectives successfully as Vegeta. Take a look at the trailer, which has plenty for Dragon Ball fans to enjoy, right here.
As well as Vegeta, the new Dragon Ball: The Breakers season is also adding Survivor skins for Yajirobe, King Furry, and Chi-Chi, as well as Transpheres for Super Saiyan versions of Goku and teen Gohan. The in-game shop will also have new customization options up for grabs, including adult Trunks' "Adventure Outfit" and a Saibaman plushie. Aww. You'll also get the chance to explore the new Rocky Field map, which is shown off in the trailer.
If you're unfamiliar with Dragon Ball: The Breakers, here's a quick primer. It's a sort of Dead by Daylight-esque asymmetrical multiplayer game in which a Raider is pitted against Survivors, who must avoid the Raider's wrath at all costs. The Raider must complete a series of objectives around the map, and doing so will grant them access to more powerful forms with additional abilities. The game was launched in October, and as you've probably guessed, Season 2 will represent its second major content drop.
You can grab Dragon Ball: The Breakers right now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Naturally, you can also play the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S thanks to backwards compatibility. The second season is due to arrive for the game on February 16th.
