Bushiroad has announced the first details of its upcoming Danmachi game, inspired by the popular anime, manga, and light novel series.

The game, which was announced at an event in January in Japan, is titled Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Fulland of Water and Light, and today we learn that it's going to be an action JRPG for Nintendo Switch.

The information, which comes from the GA FES 2024 event held yesterday to celebrate the franchises from GA Bunko, GA Novels, and GA Comics, also includes that the only language currently supported is Japanese.

At the moment, we don't know whether the game will remain exclusive to Japan or if an English localization is coming at a later date in a similar fashion as Goblin Slayer: Another Adventurer - Nightmare Feast, which has been released in Japanese with an Eglish translation coming.

The Switch exclusivity is fairly peculiar, considering all of the publisher's other anime games are coming on multiple platforms

Not much else is known, besides the fact that the game will "follow the path and truth of heroes." For the moment, we don't even have a single image, which is why all the pictures showcased in this article are from the anime.

Incidentally, during the same event, we learned that the Danmachi series has sold 17 million copies worldwide and the new season of the anime (which will be its fifth) will air in the fall of 2024.

At the moment, no release date has been announced for this new game. Incidentally (if that wasn't already clear) it's an entirely separate project from the free-to-play gacha game Danmachi: Battle Chronicle that has recently been released for for PC, PS5, PS4, iOS, and Android.

At the moment, no mention has been made about it being free-to-play, so it's probably a full-fledged paid game.
