Today Bushiroad hosted a big event at the Tokyo Dome venue in Japan, and it had quite a few reveals to share, alongside new footage and details about games that have already been announced.
We start with an announcement of a brand new game dedicated to the popular Danmachi anime series. The title is "Danjon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatte Irudarou ka: Mizu to Hikari no Fururando."
It translates as Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Fulland of Water and Light.
At the moment, we have only the logo, which you can see above, and we know that the story draft will be written by the light novel's author Fujino Omori.
We also hear that It'll be a completely original story. Other than that, we don't know anything about genre, platforms (besides the fact that it's for consoles), or release window.
The official title of the Hunter X Hunter fighting game announced at Jump Festa has also been announced. It's Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact.
For now, all we know about this game is that it's defined as a "full-blown fighting game" and it's developed by Eighting.
If you're not familiar with the studio, its fighting game pedigree isn't bad at all, including DNF Duel, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Fate/unlimited codes, Tekken Advance, Bloody Roar, and Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed.
We also get a trailer, which you can watch below, albeit it doesn't show much.
Next, is a new trailer of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation - Quest of Memories. We get to see more of its anime-inspired dungeon-crawling gameplay by Lancarse.
We also learn that it'll feature the story of the anime plus original scenarios including the untold story of Roxy, Elinalise, and Talhand as they search for Rudeus.
While the game doesn't have a release date yet besides Summer 2024, we know it'll come to PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Speaking of release dates, we get one for Gift, the indie escape puzzle action game developed by Toydium. it's coming on May 9, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
It'll also support a bunch of languages including Japanese, English, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian.
You can see it in the trailer below alongside new looks at Bushiroad's previously-announced anime game lineup.
These include the JRPG Goblin Slayer: Another Adventurer - Nightmare Feast, coming on February 24 for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, and the shoot 'em up Marcross: Shooting Insight, coming PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on March 14.
Yet, this is not all, as Bushiroad also announced a bunch of visual novels.
The Blatant Lies of Lilja and Natsuka is coming in 2024 for PC via Steam. It's described as "a story of hidden lies (truths) drawn by you and me."
Lilac is also coming in 2024 for PC via Steam, described as "a story set in a school with wizards and humans, depicting "everyday life" within "extraordinary life"
Dusk Index: Gion is coming for PC and Nintendo Switch but doesn't have a release window. It's described as "a title co-written by cherrymochi, creator of the psycho-suspense adventure game "Tokyo Dark", and Bushiroad."
Virtual Girl@ developed by Headlock is also coming for PC and Nintendo Switch with no release window. It's a game brought forth by BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! character designer Osamu Nobusawa and Bushiroad.
