If you want to see more about the Battle Mage, the new DLC character coming soon to DNF Duel, you have come to the right place.

Today nexon released two videos, the first of which is an introduction to the playstyle of the Battle Mage, alongside her most relevant moves.

It's a good primer to see whether the way she fights suits your style.

The Battle Mage is described as being easy to control and having many simple yet powerful skills. She can also accumulate "chasers" that can be consumed to accumulate additional effects.

The developers mention that they aimed for a delicate balance between user-friendly gameplay and the strategic potential of the chasers.

You can check out the video below.

A second video released today introduces the stage that will be released with the Battle Mage, named Meister's Laboratory.

Not only do we get to see the stage and some of its animations, but we also get to sample its background music.

Here's how its described:

The secret base where the Seven Meisters developed Codename Gaebolg to counter Bakal. It's a maze-like structure, heavily fortified with security systems and weapons to safeguard Gaebolg. Only the Seven Meisters and the Eternal Flames can enter and exit safely.

Update 12/11/2023: a new trailer with gameplay was also revealed. You can watch it below.

The Battle Mage will release on December 18 and she is is the third DLC character to be implemented for the game, following the Spectre and the Brawler, who came respectively in July and September.

Two more characters will be released in 2024 to complete the season pass and we don't know if a second will follow.

DNF Duel is currently available on PC, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

Incidentally, Nexon recently revealed another game intended to expand the Dungeon & Fighter franchise, the hardcore action RPG The First Berserker: Khazan, which was revealed at The Game Awards and is coming to PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
