Third-party developers have released new assets about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including multiple aircraft and a relevant airport.
Black Square and Just Flight released just another video of the Socata TBM 850.
This one is perhaps the most impressive yet, just by virtue of the fact that it's about environmental systems, al element that even many of the most advanced aircraft reduce to a dial that you can set on something and does basically nothing.
You can check out the level of detail bellow.
Next, we stay into the same category of aircraft with the Pilatus PC-12 by SimWorks Studios.
Work on it has been delayed for health reasons, but now the aircraft should be 1-2 weeks away from completion. Only small details and LOD are missing,
You can check out a few new screenshots below, also showing an interesting experimental system that gives passengers traits and moods according to your performance as a pilot.
WWD provided an update on its Eurocopter EC135 (or Airbus HC135 if you prefer the new name), alongside a few screenshots.
Exterior, interior as well as systems and avionics have received major improvements. We are making good progress in all respects and are very satisfied with our working speed.
Originally, a progress video was planned for this month. However, we were not able to shoot this one due to time constraints, which is why I only have a few Screenshots for you.
Exterior:
Now, the Exterior is close to being completed. The Exterior has recived the high skid variant, attachments and way more attachments. (Please note that the textures are not final!)Interior:
The Interior is currently getting a complete rework. The version is called Interior V2.Interior V2 is an updated version of the interior with even more accurate and detailed modelling as well as 4 - 8k textures. You guys will see the interior in the next update.
Avionics:
Avionics is also advancing very quickly. I am actively working on the PFD as well as ND of the EC135. Ray is currently working on the VEMD.All of those are coming along nicely and are planned to be implemented into the sim soon.
Systems:
The systems are really a topic in themselves.
It takes a while to understand how the systems work and how we build them in the SDK. The Fuel and Electrical systems are doing best at the moment. Nevertheless, they are far from finished. The biggest challenge in system development will be to create the Dual Engine logic. This is an unsupported variant for helicopters from Asobo.
Last, but not least, Drzewiecki Design released new screenshots of its upcoming Copernicus Airport Wrocław (EPWR) in Poland.
We get to see more of the landmarks that will be included in the city, in top of hangars, aprons, and warehouses.
As usual, I leave you with the mention that here on TechRaptor we cover daily Microsoft Flight Simulator news, so if you feel lost within the enormous third-party add-on market, this is the place to be.
