Black Square's TBM 850 in Microsoft Flight Simulator

Today third-party developers released two add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including an aircraft and an airport, each relevant for very different reasons.

We start with the Socata TBM 850 by Black Square, a very high-detailed rendition of the aircraft, as you may have seen over the previous weeks in which the aircraft's features have been showcased in several videos.

It has now been released, and it's available on Just Flight's store for $41.99.

The features list is too long to list here, but you can expect a high degree of complexity supported by a manual with over 100 pages of critical information, supported by in-sim checklists.

The next release is from Simulación Extrema and it's currently available only on the official in-sim marketplace for $10.99.

It's Barra Airport (EGPR) in Scotland and it's considered one of the most challenging and unique airports in the world as it doesn't really have a proper runway.

In fact, Loganair's Twin Otters which connect Barra to Glasgow land and take off from the airport's tidal beach.

If putting your landing gear down on wet sand doesn't scare you, you can see what it looks like below.

As usual, please do remember that we host daily news coverage about Microsoft Flight Simulator and its add-ons.

Considering how many are released and announced every week, we strive to offer a streamlined and handy guide to keep up to date with this dynamic and fast-moving industry.
