Both Microsoft and third-party developers had plenty of news and releases for Microsoft Flight Simulator to share today, including aircraft and scenery.

We start with the official release of Sim Update 14, which has been in beta for quite a while. While it won't include the brand-new Airbus A320neo by iniBuilds, as it requires more time in the oven before it's ready for release, it still comes with plenty of goodies.

Among those is a complete overhaul of the Cirrus SR22T G6, even more improvements to the Boeing 787, improvements to ATC, weather, and more.

You can find the full patch notes on the official site

Next, a new aircraft release is coming today from SimWorks Studios, and it's the Pilatus PC-12. It'll be available at noon GMT (which should be about an hour from the moment of this writing) at the developer's store

Update: The aircraft has been released and you can find it at SimWorks Studios' store and iniBuilds.

It'll be priced at €24.99 and will be available on the developer's store, initially. I'll update this article with the specific URL later today after the aircraft is officially out, but in the meantime, you can check out a trailer below.

Sticking to aircraft, we get the reveal of the development of a Microsoft Flight Simulator version of the Boeing 737 Max by iFly.

While the screenshot below is mentioned as fairly old by the developer, is an example of the level of quality they're aiming for. The aircraft's release is still "a number of months away."

Moving on to scenery, Orbx announced a British Isles Mesh. It includes "6,000 smaller islands as well as the islands of Great Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Northern Isles (Shetland and Orkney), the Inner and Outer Hebrides, and more."

Here's what you can expect from the product alongside a few screenshots.

"An in-depth analysis of the existing default elevation data across the entire coverage area has guided the development of this add-on. Additional high-resolution data were integrated to fill existing problems with default low resolution DEM data, correct spikes and troughs along DEM grid sections throughout the British Isles.

Ireland has had particular focus by crafting a new mesh from ALOS satellite DEM data. Leveraging innovative techniques, the terrain has been enhanced and has had over 200 locations added with a remarkable 2m/pix resolution. Explore Ireland with newfound clarity and detail."

We also get to see the first screenshots of Flight Sim Development Group's next German state landmark add-ons, focusing on Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Lastly, Spinoza released another airport, Hancock County–Bar Harbor Airport (KNHB) in Maine, United States.

It's currently available on Simmarket for $21.31 and you can see what it looks like below.
