Third-party developers have released two brand new add-on airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator today.
The first is Shadescene's Penang International Airport (WMKP). It's currently available on Simmarket for $16,46.
Here's what the add-on promises:
- Custom modeled terminal
- Custom terraforming
- Custom jetways
- High resolution textures
- Custom objects and modeled interior of the terminal.
- Hand-placed Taxiways and Runway light system. Taxiways center, Taxiways edge, Runway light system, etc.
- Full Day/Night lighting.
- Hand-crafted ground markings and textures.
We also get the release of a smaller but quite scenic airport, Antonio Rivera Rodríguez Airport (TJVQ) serving the island of Vieques in Puerto Rico. It's currently available from SXAirportDesign on Simmarket for $13.73.
Here's what you get:
- An up-to-date and extremely detailed recreation of the airport
- High resolution blended aerial imagery
- Custom PBR Ground polygons
- MSFS native night lighting
- Custom MSFS PBR Airport Objects
- Custom 3D vegetation
Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
