Microsoft Flight Simulator Melbourne Airport Announced; Airbus A330 & East Midlands Get New Screenshots

Today third-party developers shared new assets and reveals about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, alongside a new release.

We start with Orbx, which announced Melbourne Airport (YMML) also showcasing a brief video. As the second-busiest airport in Australia, this one was highly anticipated and it's nice to see that it's finally coming.

Next is Aerosoft, which released new screenshots of its Airbus A330, showing a few really nice liveries. 

More screenshots were revealed by Pyreegue, showing off more of the cargo warehouses of East Midlands Airport (EGNX) in the UK. 

Last, but not least, Lisium released Palanga International Airport (EYPA) in Lithuania. This airport serving a popular holiday resort town is available on Simmarket for $25.55, promising the following features.

  • High Definition Textures with PBR, to enhance the experience
  • Parallax Interiors, not to leave simmers with a feeling that something should be behind this window
  • Accurately modeled airport night lighting
  • Up to date layout, including the recent reconstruction works changes
  • Animated models

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
