Microsoft Flight Simulator Fokker F28 Gets Release Date; Rafale Gets New Screenshots

Microsoft Flight Simulator Fokker F28 Fellowship

Third-party developers had Microsoft Flight Simulator add-on news and releases to share today, including both aircraft and airports. 

We start with the Fokker F28 Fellowship by Just Flight. Not only do we get plenty of new screenshots, but a release date has been announced. This vintage regional airliner is coming next week on Wednesday, July 12.

 

Next on the menu is the recently announced Dassault Rafale by CJ Simulations. Via DC Designs, we hear that the famous French multirole fighter is coming for both PC and Xbox and is actually already in the final stage of production before it's released. The developer has been working on it in silence for several months.

 

Speaking of releases, MXI Design launched Kukës International Airport Zayed (LAKU) in Albania. It's available on Simmarket for $13.27 and it promises the following features.

  • Up to date ground layout
  • High detailed ground polygons and markings
  • High detailed modeled airport buildings for best rendition of the airport
  • PBR implementation to airport buildings
  • Interior model of terminals for gives a depth
  • 3D Passengers
  • Custom CGL
 

Lastly, we go all the way to the Andes in Colombia with La Nubia Airport (SKMZ), known for its scenic location and challenging approach. Teikof Studio released it on Simmarket for $15.94 with the following features.

  • High quality textures and models
  • Animated objects around the scenery
  • Custom markings with wear and tear
  • High fidelity terminal representation
  • Attention to detail and lots of hours of work.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
