Microsoft Flight Simulator Embraer E 190 and Rafale

Third-party developers had news and quite a few interesting releases to share of aircraft and airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We start with the Embraer E190 and E195 by FlightSim Studio. They're based on the early access E170 and E175 package released back in April, but quite a lot of progress has been made on the systems since.

You can find the full list of features in the stores, Aerosoft and Contrail, where the add-on is priced at $48.79.

It's worth mentioning that they're a completely separate package from the shorter version, and there are no dependencies. There is also no discount for those who got the previous package, but those who own both will get exclusive access to the E190/195 freighter variant, which is coming in Q2 2024.

Another relevant aircraft release is the Dassault Rafale by CJ Simulations. This French multirole fighter is available on the official in-sim marketplace for both PC and Xbox priced at $34.99.

You can check out what it looks like in the trailer below.

We stay in the realm of aircraft with the announcement of the small and sporty Breezer Sport ultralight aircraft from Aerosoft. It'll come with the following features.

  • Realistic and authentic interior and cockpit according to original specifications from Breezer Germany
  • Animated glass canopy for opening and closing, including handle animation
  • Intrumentation with AS3 Touch
  • original RSFlight EMU for display of engine data, simplified without options
  • Animated kneeboard with original Breezer checklists
  • Animated tablet with additional functions:
    •   Safety Pin, Pitot Cover, Canopy open/close, Baggage
  • Also implemented is a practical checklist that automatically includes all steps for starting the engine.

You can take a look at the first screenshots below.

Next, we move on to airports with the release of Mae Fah Luang - Chiang Rai International Airport (VTCT) in Thailand by Siamfllight.

It's available on Orbx Direct and Simmarket starting at $13.10 and including the following features.

  • Terminal Detailed model with MSFS materials.

  • Chiang Rai Meteorological Department.
  • Nok Air temporary repair hangar.

Another airport has been released by NMG Simulations, and it's Saint Helena Airport (FHSH) serving the British Overseas Territory of Saint Helena.
