You'll be able to get Limbo free as the next giveaway game on the Epic Games Store in July 2019. For now, the rotation has switched things up and the colorful action role-playing game Torchlight is now available for free!

If you haven't played Limbo before, well... it's considered one of the modern classics of the new indie era by many. You're in the titular re alm of Limbo as a small boy with no idea how you got there. You'll move through the world solving various puzzles in a colorless world enhanced by a unique art style. It's a very muted game that is best explained by playing it yourself, and that will be easy enough to do when you get Limbo free from July 18, 2019–July 25, 2019.

The giveaway of Limbo is part of the Epic Game Store's continuing program to get more people on their service by giving them free games. The program has been running since roughly the beginning of the year.

For now, the current game in the rotation is the action RPG Torchlight. Players head deep into mines filled with magical crystals and hostile enemies, similar to how the first Diablo game focused on a single level. It was followed by Torchlight II; a brand-new game in the Torchlight franchise is currently in development.

You can get a better idea of what Limbo is like by checking out its trailer below. It will be available for free on the Epic Games Store starting on July 18, 2019. In the meantime, go ahead and grab Torchliight free right now!

Will you get Limbo free on the Epic Games Store when it comes into the rotation or are you not too fond of the game? What's been your favorite free game on the store so far? Let us know in the comments below!

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
