IO Interactive and developer Feral Interactive have announced Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal, a revamped version of the 2006 stealth classic.

The game will head to mobile devices this fall, and a release for Nintendo Switch will then follow sometime this winter, although we don't have more specific release dates than that yet.

Additions for this new version of the classic stealth adventure include an Instinct Mode, similar to the one that appears in the World of Assassination trilogy.

You can also look forward to a new minimap that will help you to see where you are and where you should be, as well as various "gameplay improvements inspired by later games in the series".

The mobile versions of Blood Money Reprisal will also come with full keyboard and mouse support, as well as a touchscreen interface that you'll be able to customize.

Hitman: Blood Money was originally released in 2006. The fourth game in the Hitman franchise, it once again follows Agent 47 as he assassinates a series of targets and attempts to get to grips with his origins.

Several improvements were made over previous Hitman games for Blood Money, including obstacle climbing, weapon upgrading, and using NPCs as shields, as well as several others.

Blood Money is just one of several remasters appearing on Switch recently or coming to the console in the next few months.

Others include Batman: Arkham Trilogy, which was recently delayed into December, as well as Red Dead Redemption and 2001 cult classic RPG Gothic.

The release of Blood Money Reprisal is part of IO Interactive's 25th anniversary plans, which were announced earlier today.

You can also look forward to several new World of Assassination challenges, as well as a new retro skin for Agent 47 in that trilogy of games, which you'll be able to unlock starting from October 26th.

Stay tuned for more info about Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal, including any potential release dates we hear about.
