The steady stream of updates to Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto Online now adds a completely new mode to the game and is holding a week-long event to celebrate!
This new mode, titled 'Rhino Hunt', has players fight against each other in two teams. One team will be made up of several sticky bomb-wielding players in dune buggies and other light vehicles as they try to take down 1 or 2 other players driving big and powerful rhino tank. Players who drive the rhino tank must do their best to utilize their armored vehicles as best they can while the other players try to take down the tanks with their sticky bombs. This mode has been added to the adversary game mode, which are missions given to players by crime boss Martin Madrazo. You can find the new mode by going into the pause screen while you're in a Grand Theft Auto Online session.
To celebrate the release of the new mode, Rockstar is holding a week-long event where players who play the adversary mode will reap some extra awards for playing, giving you that little bit extra so you can buy that car you've been wanting to get for ages.
During the event, you will pay 25% less for warstock caches, will be able to call in a Merryweather helpline for 25% less, get 50% off automatic rifle ammo, 50% several weapon attachments and 50% off tactical gear you can use in heists.
In addition to this, players will also be getting double Reputation Points for playing the Valentine's Day and freemode events. The event runs from the 26th of February until the 4th of March. Note that the new mode and the event will only be available to players who play the game on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms since the support for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has been discontinued as of last year.
