Cygames has announced a Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising open beta for next month.
The beta will take place from November 9th through November 12th and will allow you to play as 26 of the upcoming fighting game's characters.
Per the official Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising website, the beta will be open to all players and will also support cross-platform play between PlayStation and PC.
You'll be able to access Casual and Lobby Matches, as well as Training Mode and even the 30-player Grand Bruise Legends minigame.
While the beta version of the game is undergoing maintenance, you'll still be able to do battle with the CPU offline as well, so you needn't put down your controller.
The open beta's playable roster will include previously-announced fighters like Anila, Siegfried, and Lancelot, but won't include all of the characters; Nier and Grimnir, for instance, don't seem to be playable in the beta.

You'll need to reside in Japan, Asia, North America, or Europe to play the beta, and you'll also need a stable internet connection.
The beta will be available between 6pm on November 9th and 5pm on November 10th, Pacific time. Another session will then be held between 11pm on November 11th and 11pm on November 12th, again in Pacific time.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is set to launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on November 30th.
It's a followup to 2020's Granblue Fantasy Versus that features new characters, rollback netcode, and crossplay support, as well as new mechanics, some of which have proven rather controversial.
Stay tuned for more info on this one as soon as we get it.
