The Godhood Create Your Own Religion Update is here! This free update adds several new systems to the game along with a very important new feature: the ability to worship cats. It's like Tumblr, but less insane!
If you haven't yet played Godhood, it's a pretty neat game from the same people who brought you the TechRaptor favorite Renowned Explorers: International Society. You'll be able to create your own religion, deciding what is good and just on the one side and what is vile and evil on the other.
You won't be operating in a vacuum, though! Other religions will spring up and compete for worshipers. Is your god the mightiest? Find out by sending wave after wave of your own worshippers to their death! Now, a brand-new update has added three new systems and a new set of sacrament rules to the game.
The New Additions in the Godhood Create Your Own Religion Update
The first item of note in the Godhood Create Your Own Religion Update is the Religious Development system. Essentially, this adds tech trees for religons to the game. Your spiritual system is made even more complex with Religious Tenents — these offer unique Religion Trees, buildings, and choices for players to work through.
A world map challenge will put your evangelism abilities to the test, especially with the new crystal skulls mechanic — essentially, you'll have to use these rare items in order to kick off a sacrament. Sacraments have also been maid more fair and you'll now have a little more control over how it all turns out.
If Godhood sounds like your kind of jam, you can play the Create Your Own Religion Update right now. Pick the game up on Steam or DRM-free on GOG at the price of $21.59 or your regional equivalent, a 20% discount off of its normal price of $26.99.
