Renowned Explorers: International Society is an interesting strategy game that's all about exploring strange lands and gaining fame. Form a team of the titular explorers and head out into lands that haven't yet been visited by modern man in search of wisdom and (more importantly) treasure! You won't be alone, though — several other teams of explorers are trying to do the same thing as you!
Each of your explorers has its own strengths and weaknesses. Some are better suited to good ol' fisticuffs, but that's not the only way to win a fight! Butter up your competition with some charming compliments or frighten them away with insults, taunts, and humiliation!
Throughout the course of Renowed Explorers: International Society, you'll have to collect Insight, Research, Gold, and Status. These resources can be used once you get back home to upgrade your team and purchase new equipment. Spend what you have wisely, though — in Renowned Explorers: International Society, you are very much on the clock! Be the first to be the best explorer in the world!

- Vivid Stories - Find more than a hundred treasures in hundreds of visual events that adapt to the characters and have multiple outcomes.
- Build a reputation - Become a Diplomat, Aggressor or Manipulator. Go for Science, Wealth or Status. Fame is your goal, but the way there is entirely up to you.
- Permadeath? - In Adventure mode, you cannot load after failure. Discovery mode lets you reload. Choose difficulties from Easy through Impossible to customize the challenge.
