Daylight Studios has announced the next entry into the Holy Potatoes! series. Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! tasks players with running a spy agency, planning spy missions and heists in order to uncover the evil truth behind a spy corporation. The game is the fourth entry in the franchise so far following Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! and is set to launch on Steam in late summer this year.

Players will train up their very own potato spy team and strategize espionage missions in this spy-agency management simulator. Craft spy gadgets such as clout glasses, spy boogers, and invisibility cloaks to ensure your secret-agents succeed on the field! You play as twins Ren and Rexa, who set out on a dangerous mission to uncover the truth behind their parents' disappearance. They'll have to use all of their special spy skills to succeed, in this high-stakes, spy-tinged adventure. Ren and Rexa can hack through security systems, bypass doors, and out-smart guards.

You will be the unseen hero in the shadows, using your intelligence, charm, stealth, and strength to take on the enemy and fulfill your missions! Faizan Abid, producer at the Singapore based Daylight Studios said, "We were really excited to start the development of Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! We are all big fans of the 007 films and of course the spin-offs with Rowan Atkinson, Johnny English, so we have a lot of inspiration to draw from," hinting at some of the places you can expect Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! to take ideas from.

You can get a feel for the spud/spy action by checking out the teaser trailer below. There's a serious Bond vibe given off by the trailer, with the iconic gun barrel intro given a potato-based spin.
