This year Epic Games is offering 12 free games to go alongside their winter sale. If you’re not familiar with the Epic Games Store they give out free games to keep forever every month and you can currently pick up the excellent Telltale Game The Wolf Among Us and next week The Escapists is free. Since The Wolf Among Us 2 was also announced tonight, it may be the perfect time to re-familiarize yourself with the story or experience it for the very first time, for free.
There’s no word on exactly what games will be free during the sale which starts on December 19th, but going off what they’ve given away in the past it isn’t unreasonable to expect some great titles (and at that price you can't really complain). Until then you can pick up every game that was nominated for an award tonight available on the Epic Games Store on sale here. This includes titles such as Control, Borderlands 3, and The Outer Worlds all of which were nominated for Game Of The Year, or other various awards throughout the night.
