Fly Punch Boom!

Developer and publisher Jollypunch Games finally gave their cartoonish action beat’em up, Fly Punch Boom!, a release date, and it is just a couple of weeks away. It was originally revealed in 2018, and quickly stood out from other titles in the genre with its incredibly unique art style and entertaining gameplay.

Fly Punch Boom! pits two players against each other, and you basically get to blast your opponent through skyscrapers with powerful punches and wrestling moves. The characters' visual appearance change gradually with the more damage they take, and the game offers players over 40 stage fatalities to finish off their opponents. The following is a brief list of the game's features:

  • Local and online multiplayer, up to 4 players local & 2 online
  • Arcade mode, unlockables and secrets for solo players
  • Destructible stages where everything is a trap and everything is a weapon!
  • Anime super fights with flying smashes, deformed faces and insane special moves
  • 40 stage fatalities: get mauled by cats, break the planet in half, or explode in the moon's butt!

Fly Punch Boom! officially releases on May 28th for Nintendo Switch and PC. Make sure to check out the title's release date trailer below for a preview of what to expect when you purchase the title. If you like what you see, a demo of the title became available earlier in April, nicknamed Fly Punch Boom: First Impact!
