Cool background for ARR.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers just keeps getting better and better, especially with its next major update, Patch 5.3 - Reflections in Crystal.

To start, the patch will include the last act for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers' main scenario questline, and the main scenario questline for the original Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn "... a more streamlined experience as they progress to Heavensward and beyond." Once the players have finished "The Ultima Weapon" quest, they will also be able to fly.

That's not all, as there will be another NIeR-inspired raid, which is entitled The Puppets Bunker. It will apparently "... unravel further mysteries of the machine lifeforms of the First." A dungeon as well will be added, which will allow players to fight alongside their fellow adventurers or with a party of non-player characters using the Trust system. A new Trial will also be added in normal and extreme difficulties, and the Save the Queen questline will receive an update, with players now able to enhance their weapons obtained via the first chapter of the quest series in a new area. There will also be new large-scale battle content that's added with the update.

Along with all that in-game stuff, there will also be another episode in The Creation of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers that is set to premiere on YouTube next Thursday on April 30.

For those interested in trying out Final Fantasy XIV, be sure to download the free trial that will allow players to access content up to level 35, create up to eight playable characters and experience different races, classes, and jobs with no restrictions on in-game playtime.
