Following the reveals at Fate/Grand Order Fest in Japan, today Koei Tecmo followed up with plenty of screenshots and details about Fate/Samurai Remnant

We get to see the servant Archer, associated with Master, Zheng Chenggong, on top of Assassin. Yet, the biggest reveal is Rogue Servants, who don't have a Master.

If the player manages to form a bond with them, the hero Miyamoto Iori will be able to borrow their powers or even have them accompany him in battle. Here's a full list of those we see today directly from the press release.

  • Rogue Lancer (true name Cú Chulainn): Wields a crimson spear longer than he is, as if it were part of himself. He has a belligerent personality and seeks out challenging battles.
  • Rogue Archer (true name Arjuna): A fighter clad in a white robe who wields a bow covered with blue flames. He is pure, always respectful, and behaves in a fair and honest manner.
  • Rogue Rider (true name Tamamo Aria): Captivates men with her dainty appearance and somewhat frivolous speech and behavior. Instead of riding on something, riding on someone seems to be her preferred form of transportation.
  • Rogue Saber: An armored warrior who rides a gray horse and wields a large sword. He is in pursuit of an enemy called the Evil Ogre, whom he seeks to destroy.
  • Rogue Berserker: A long-haired fighter who boasts a muscular body. Being summoned as a Berserker, he has lost all sense of rationality. For whatever reason, he accompanies Takao Dayu.

We also hear about the "Spirit Font Conflict," a new gameplay element focusing on a competition to conquer Spirit Fonts scattered around the city of Edo. The goal is to acquire the Spirit Fonts which represent enemy strongholds, by moving on a grid map. When a Spirit Font is completed, the ley lines connect it to the player's base temporarily boosting Miyamoto Iori's abilities.

Some of the Rogue Servants can be used as separate units on the grid and some of them will only help Miyamoto Iori within this feature.

Another element showcased today is the Magecraft Workshop located in Edo, which allows Miyamoto Iori to learn new skills. The workshop can be leveled up, allowing to learn the ability to request the Rogue Servants' assistance in battle and more. A sword maintenance minigame is also playable in the workshop, granting bonus effects in battle.

Below you can check out the new screenshots and art, on top of the English version of the new trailer released last night.

Fate/Samurai Remnant will release on September 28, 2023, for PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch in Japan, while Western fans will have to wait until September 29. Pre-orders are already available on all platforms.
