Behaviour Interactive has announced its partnership with Lunarch Studios to release a new game that gives vibes of The Witness, and Myst in a shared world environment. Previously known as Project S, Islands of Insight is their newly revealed game.

As a seeker you explore the floating isles that make up the world, looking for secrets or solving puzzles. Unlike most games in this genre, it is a shared world that you can play with friends and lets you take a break from puzzles to just marvel around the unique world. The solution to puzzles is, according to the developers, always within sight, avoiding the problem some puzzle games have of needing you to hit something on the opposite side of the map to solve a puzzle.

Carla Rylance of Behaviour Interactive accompanied the announcement with a comment.

Behaviour Interactive and Lunarch Studios have collaboratively designed a truly unique game. Islands of Insight transports players to a beautiful realm never seen before, where exploration and a-ha moments awaits, making this a one-of-a-kind game within the puzzle genre.

As you solve the puzzles you can also expect to get new areas to explore and go through it. You have the option not just to wander, but also to fly around the world giving you unique perspectives on everything. It features a variety of puzzles from perspective puzzles to mazes, block puzzles, environmental challenges, and more.
