Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection

Atlus released a new trailer of the Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection, focusing on its gameplay features and providing an overview of what you can expect.

The trailer starts by mentioning the "Picnic Mode" which will let you breeze through what's otherwise rather challenging gameplay.

We then get to run through the features of the remasters, which bring back hardcore dungeon-crawling JRPG gameplay with refreshed visuals, on top of plenty of character progression to enjoy as you strengthen your guild made of many adventures belonging to a ton of different classes.

You can watch it below.

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection was introduced during a Nintendo Direct broadcast In February, featuring Etrian Odyssey HD, Etrian Odyssey II HD, and Etrian Odyssey III HD. The collection is set to launch on June 1, 2023, for both Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Each game can be purchased individually, with the bundle priced at $79.99 and each game priced at $39.99.

The original titles, Etrian Odyssey, Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard, and Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City, first debuted on the Nintendo DS in 2007, 2008, and 2010, respectively. If you missed the gameplay reveal from February, you can check it out and also take a look at the "Picnic," "Basic," and "Expert" difficulty levels, on top of another recent trailer.
