Capcom announced during a showcase livestream that a Character Creator and Storage app for Dragon's Dogma 2 has just been released.
The app is already available for free on all of the platforms that will get the game in just two weeks. For instance, you can find it on the game's Steam page if you plan to play on PC.
It includes the full character creation suite of Dragon's Dogma 2 and lets you create and store up to 5 Arisen characters and up to 5 main pawn characters.
When the game releases later this month, you'll be able to select the characters you created to play the game without having to spend hours in the character creator, as many of us usually do, allowing you to jump right into the action.
On top of the app, we also learn that Capcom will make available a set of "official pawns" created by various influencers, that you'll be able to recruit if you're into that.
We also saw some new footage today showcasing the world, monsters, and characters. Speaking of monsters and characters, you can pull monsters in areas occupied by friendlies and they will naturally rally to help you fight. Yet, each will react differently, showing courage or cowardice.
There are over 1,000 characters in the world and their relationship with the Arisen will change depending on the player's actions. That in turn will also change their relationships with each other.

Dragon's Dogma 2 will release for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S in less than two months, on March 22, 2024. You can still pre-order a physical copy for PS5 or one for Xbox Series X|S on Amazon.
