Developer Arc System Works and publisher Nexon have released an eight-minute in-depth DNF Duel gameplay video showcasing the moves of upcoming DLC fighter Monk.
The new video shows Monk taking on three of the game's fighters. He fights fellow DLC characters Battle Mage and Brawler, and he also takes on Berserker, who's part of the base DNF Duel roster.
Last week, we got a first look at Monk's gameplay and a release date for the fighter, but this new video is ideal if you're planning to pick him up and want to know exactly how he plays.
Despite Monk's heavy-handed (pun intended) combat style, he looks surprisingly agile in these three bouts. He's capable of ducking and weaving around the stage as well as delivering powerful blows.
With that said, his bout against Battle Mage seems to show that he can be outclassed by quick characters who can build up combos quickly, so make sure you don't get stuck in a corner.
All in all, the new video is a great way to examine Monk's moves in detail and to help you decide whether or not he's going to be the fighter for you. Here's the DNF Duel Monk gameplay video in all its glory.
Monk is the fourth character to be included as part of DNF Duel's Season Pass. He was announced for the game on Valentine's Day, and he'll be arriving on March 14th.
The other three characters currently available as part of the Season Pass comprise the aforementioned Battle Mage and Brawler, as well as the sneaky spy Spectre.
A fifth character is also scheduled for release sometime in the future, although we don't know who that is or when they'll arrive just yet. It'll likely be a few months until we learn the identity of the final DNF Duel DLC fighter.
