Dust off those long-forgotten thinking caps and prepare for intense puzzles that will hurt your brain, as Devolover Tumble Time is now up for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.
Devolver Digital and Nopopo have announced that the mobile puzzle game, Devolver Tumble Time is now available for players to pre-register for the game prior to its launch in January of 2023. This allows players to pay now, forget about it until after the holidays, and have the game download automatically once it fully releases.
The aim of the game is to stack up points by clearing the heads of the most iconic Devolver games characters from the tumbler. Once you gain some of those points, you can unleash different characters' special abilities to wipe out even more of the heads from the tumblers at once. The devs say that Devolver Tumble Time is "the future of physics-based puzzle gameplay, elegant monetization, and strategic brand integration", and in the Mobile release trailer, we see exactly what they mean.
The ads are just plain funny, where they say the game is fun for the entire family. Then, out of nowhere, a kitty cat paw starts swiping the heads from the tumbler, which gave me a good laugh. The ads are supposedly going to be vastly entertaining and well-placed not to impede on the fun players are having. The rounds last 60 seconds each and will challenge just how well you know your Devolver games characters in the silliest and most unprecedented ways you can imagine. The thrills really begin once you get that hype bar jumping, which is where that special ability comes into play. Release that power to make some funny and interesting chain reactions occur, leaving your face in pain from the sheer number of smiles and laughs this game will bring.
