Today marks the 10th anniversary of the release of the original Granblue Fantasy mobile game, and Cygames is celebrating its success.
The Shibuya-based developer has released a beautiful anime video focusing on showcasing many beloved characters from the game.
While it doesn't have a specific narrative line, the video does portray some climactic moments in the story that fans will surely recognize.
The video will likely be interesting for those who have never played the mobile game and jumped into the franchise with its recent console debut, as it gives you an idea of the franchise's massive and colorful cast.

I certainly remember when Granblue Fantasy was originally revealed. Back then, mobile JRPGs were already dime a dozen, but those sporting really deep stories and actual quality were rare.
Granblue Fantasy promised a story that would rival with the deepest and most beloved JRPGs on consoles, and the art was absolutely breathtaking. While it was never officially released in the West, its official English localization has drawn thousands of players from outside of Japan, contributing to its international visibility.
Of course, now the franchise has expanded, with Granblue Fantasy: Versus and its relaunch Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising bringing a high-quality experience to the market of anime-style fighting games.
More recently, Granblue Fantasy: Relink has finally hit consoles and fulfilled a promise made nearly 8 years ago, and it's doubtless that players in these new platforms have welcomed this franchise warmly despite its mobile origins.
Just yesterday we saw news related to both games, with Relink getting even more content than we expected and a new roadmap for updates and DLC. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising also seems to have a bright future with two more DLC characters already revealed and two additional ones on top of them coming by the end of the year.
