Baldur's Gate 3 has recently been released and is impressing many with its depth and complexity.
Yet, a natural consequence of depth and complexity is the presence of issues, and Larian is currently hammering away at the game to make the experience even more polished.
Studio head Swen Vincke took to X (previously Twitter) to provide a roadmap of what we can expect in the future of the game. According to the post, the developer is prioritizing fixing reported issues, but it's also listening to suggestion.
The first update we can expect will be a fourth hotfix (albeit we don't know exactly what it'll fix), followed by a big patch which will include over 1,000 fixes and tweaks.
A second major patch is also planned, and will already include some requests from the fans.
While Baldur's Gate 3 is currently available only for PC following an extensive early access phase, console players won't be left out forever. Those who plan to play on PS5 will have to wait only a few weeks longer, until September 7.
Larian has also previously mentioned that the game isn't exclusive to Sony's cobnsole and an Xbox version is in the works. Yet, it won't be released until some technical hurdles are cleared, which will take some time.
If you'd like to see more gameplay of Baldur's Gate 3, you can take a look at the launch trailer, previous gameplay including a rather... intimate and beastly encounter, a trailer mostly focusing on romance, and another trailer and footage from the PC Gaming Show.
