For those who have been waiting for a release outside of Google Stadia, wait no longer as The Arcade Crew now has a Young Souls release date. The Young Souls release date isn't too long from now: March 10, 2022, so ten days or less than two weeks for players on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will also be available to play on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backward compatibility.
If you're just hearing about the Young Souls release date and don't have any idea what I'm talking about, let me explain. Young Souls is a 2D beat 'em up mixed with a story-rich action RPG. Players take the shoes of Jenn and Tristan, orphans who were taken in by a scientist, who raised them as if they were his own children. Now he's disappeared under mysterious circumstances and the twins want to know what happened to their foster father. Eventually, they find a Moon Gate portal that transports them to a parallel world where goblins live.
As for what you can expect, there's hundreds of levels and accessories as well as the ability to explore four unique biomes. Combat gear can be upgraded, and there's over 20 bosses to take down as both the world of the goblins and humans will be explored. In between saving the world you can also hit the gym and boost your character's stats, which is a pretty neat idea.
