Alterborn

Alterborn, a soulslike third-person looter shooter roguelite, has just been announced by Polish publisher and developer Iron Lung. The game has players exploring a vast, bizarre wasteland that's filled with otherworldly fauna and flora. It also plays by its own rules, you'll have to stay on your toes if you want to survive. To do that, you'll have a bunch of arcade abilities that cause a lot of mayhem but should also be fun to use. We'll have to see about that when it comes out for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 in Q3 2023.

Interestingly, Alterborn has handcrafted levels that are mixed with procedurally generated content and fluid gameplay mechanics, and you'll see your surroundings change in real-time as you play through its levels. This means no two playthroughs are alike, but as long as you have the ability to spot and exploit patterns, you'll be rewarded for your patience.

Guns should be plentiful in Alterborn.

Alterborn is also an RPG, and you can adjust the challenge with gameplay mechanics rather than a slider. Players will be able to mix and match unlockables in order to fit their playstyle. This is also shown in its story, as the player will be able to choose both their friends and foes as you try to understand what's going on in an unstable and crazed world.

If you want to follow the game's progress, you can check out the official website along with the Steam, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, and Discord pages.
