Windbound is a "survivial-crafting" RPG adventure set amidst a series of islands. It's very similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in its gameplay and visuals, though the story is unique to itself.
You begin the game as Kara, shipwrecked and separated from her tribe. You embark on a journey across the "Forbidden Islands" scavenging the land and the wildlife for resources to survive. The setting holds within it a mystery and untold revelations that Kara will uncover along the way.
Your boat will be a very important item in this game, so crafting and customizing it such that you can sail between the islands is a crucial component of the gameplay. This gives Windbound the flavor of another Zelda title: The Wind Waker.
