Escape Academy sees you enrolling in the titular place of study, where you'll train to become the ultimate Escapist. During your time at the academy, you'll meet a wide variety of characters — including the advanced A.I. masquerading as a professor.
Many puzzles are timed, so you can always bring a friend to help out (either locally or via online play). Additional puzzles and challenges are also offered through the Escape Academy Season Pass, with each DLC also offered separately.
