Dragon Quest Builders 2 is the second building-themed spinoff from the main Dragon Quest series. Taking inspiration from games like Minecraft and Terraria, the game has you building settlements, taking on requests from villagers, and battling classic Dragon Quest monsters in typically whimsical locales.
Unlike its predecessor, Builders 2 features full four-player co-operative play. You can play online on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and there's wireless play available on Switch too. Other improvements include the ability to fly, the chance to explore underwater, and a retro-style map that offers fast travel.
Square Enix worked with Koei Tecmo in-house developer Omega Force to create Dragon Quest Builders 2.
