WWE 2K22 is a wrestling game, the first of the series available for ninth generation consoles. It brings back the extensive roster of wrestlers, alongside redesigned visuals and gameplay.
Controls have been improved across the board, with players now having access to special moves via traditional fighting game-style inputs. This makes it easier to use these moves at any time, without having to memorise overly complicated button commands. Pacing is also improved thanks to a reworked reversal system that lets you fight back more often
Character creation makes its return once again, letting you make and import a wide variety of weird and wonderful wrestlers — or perhaps add in anyone that might be missing from the initial roster.
While the usual slew of offline and online match types are available to play, MyGM lets players take control of Raw, Smackdown, NXT or NXT UK and create their own custom shows. Compete against the AI to become the top-rated show!
