Observer is Bloober Team's second project in the psychological horror genre following the major success of their title, Layers of Fear. Observer adopts a more futuristic approach where players take the role of Daniel Lazarski and aids him on his quest to unravel the mysteries and whereabouts of his estranged son Adam. He is faced with strange incidents and complex puzzles which Observer gives players the freedom to use augmented reality, vision scans, and interrogating those you meet along the way for more information.
In 2020, Observer System Redux was announced for Next Generation consoles, presumably the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
