Another week, another good old sale from GOG, the site formerly known as good old games. This week the sale’s theme is games that require strategy and planning ahead – or thrive on the lack thereof.

The Grim Dawn franchise is first up on the list, featuring the original Grim Dawn as well as its DLCs Crucible and Loyalist Upgrade. There’s also 2017’s expansion Grim Dawn – Ashes of Malmouth. Another pick for the action-oriented gamers, there is also the shooter Rogue Trooper, as well as Rogue Trooper Redux and its Collector’s Edition.

From the strategy side of the aisle, we also have Frozen Synapse, both the original and the second installment, as well as the soundtrack for the second. Also included is Frozen Synapse: Red. In case you happen to be living in a warmer clime and that’s still not enough frozen goodness for you, Frozen Cortex is also on sale, along with the Mega Tier, Ultimate Tier, and the soundtrack.

If you’re from a colder climate and already sick of all this freezing weather, try Lords of Magic: Special Edition on for size, or Lords of the Realm: Royal Edition or Lords of the Realm 3. And if that’s given you a taste for ruling? Well, you’re in luck, because Empire Earth Gold Edition is also on sale, accompanied by the Gold Edition of Empire Earth 2 and just plain old Empire Earth 3. Naturally, there is also Evil Genius to add to the list, because that’s really the next logical step.
