The Weedcraft Inc release date has been set for April 2019! This upcoming game developed by Vile Monarch and Devolver Digital has players diving into the world of weed as a street dealer who can work their way up to a legitimate enterprise backed by the law. I previewed the game earlier in the month and I can say that it certainly makes for a unique experience.

Check out the newly-released Weedcraft Inc – Scenario One Story and Gameplay Trailer to see what the game is all about. It clocks in at a very appropriate 4 minutes and 20 seconds:

In Weedcraft Inc, players will have their choice of three scenarios, each of which explores a different unique storyline. Throughout the game, players can opt to grow and sell their cannabis illegally, medically, or recreationally depending on the law. You’ll be able to play it yourself soon enough—the Weedcraft release date is April 11, 2019.

The illegal side of operations has plenty of its own challenges like bribing the cops and fending off the competition. Legal operations are almost as brutal with the occasional need to bribe politicians to swing the law in your favor. Beyond that, players will have to contend with the challenges of any other business: balancing the books, hiring employees, and delivering a quality product.

The “quality product” in this case is, of course, cannabis. Every customer has their own tastes and needs, and an innovative player will be able to create hybrid strains that can dominate the market. Sure, you could put the competition out of business by bribing the cops to raid their business, but why not just sell a better product and let the market decide? It’s cheaper in the long run, anyway.

Weedcraft Inc is Devolver Digital’s first original IP; the company specifically commissioned Vile Monarch to make this game. It’ll certainly be worth a look for fans of tycoon games and dank bud alike! The Weedcraft Inc release date is April 11, 2019. You’ll be able to get it for PC and Mac at the price of $19.99 or your regional equivalent. In the meantime, you can add the game to your wishlist on Steam.
