Less than a year after launch, the Razer Game Store is closing its doors. The website will officially close on Feb. 28 as part of the company’s realignment plans.
The Razer Game Store was announced as a new digital distribution platform for PC games, offering customers instant access to thousands of digital games available to purchase as Steam or Uplay product keys last year.
The site is currently accessible in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe, with other countries supported through a global storefront with prices based on U.S. dollars.
Visitors to the site can now see a small announcement of “Razer Game Store Closure. More info” near the top of the home page. Clicking the link brings up a page with the following message:

The letter is followed by an FAQ section that assures customers that all purchased PC games will still work and all per-ordered items fulfilled. Customer support will also be available following the closure [email protected] (English), [email protected] (French), and [email protected] (German). All Razer Silver Rewards earned from Razer Game Store purchases will also still be valid.
Razer lauds itself as “the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers.” The company also sells technological hardware including high-performance gaming peripherals, Blade gaming laptops, and the Razer Phone.
