The second game in The Jackbox Party Pack 6 has been revealed. Dictionarium is a word game which supports 3-8 players.
The objective of Dictionarium is simple: you must think of a definition for a word that doesn’t exist. There aren’t any restrictions here, so you’re free to come up with whatever you like. The definition with the most player votes wins the round, but there’s more to it than that. You’ll also need to come up with a synonym for your word and use it in a sentence. Jackbox says that by the end of a round of Dictionarium, you and your friends will have created entirely new dictionary entries. You can check out a trailer for Dictionarium below:
Dictionarium joins Trivia Murder Party 2, the other already-announced game for The Jackbox Party Pack 6. Trivia Murder Party 2 is, appropriately enough, the sequel to Trivia Murder Party, which originally appeared on The Jackbox Party Pack 3. The sequel will adopt the same light-hearted horror tone as the first game. Expect more of the same, but with extra games and questions to look forward to. Jackbox describes it as “a deviously funny trivia game” in which you’ll fight for your life across a variety of absurd and challenging minigames.
The Jackbox Party Pack 6 is the sixth entry in Chicago-based studio Jackbox’s party game series. The first Jackbox Party Pack was released back in 2014 and there’s been an installment in the franchise every year since. The latest in the series is The Jackbox Party Pack 5. Check out what TechRaptor thought of the game right here. Previous minigames have included Drawful, Word Spud, and Quiplash. The sixth game is expected to launch this fall for PC and consoles. Three more games will be announced for the game at some point in the future, so stay tuned to find out what they are.
