Limited Run Games has also expressed an interest in bringing physical releases of Switch digital titles, as Co-Founder Douglas Bogart expressed on the company’s behalf in an interview with Gaming Trend.

We are currently working on getting on the Nintendo Switch! It’s looking very positive and we hope to have our first title out this summer, fingers crossed!

However, it seems as though Nintendo is a bit hesitant to partner up so quickly.

Nintendo has possibly not ruled out the opportunity for 2018, but we can see why Nintendo would do this compared to Sony’s more easygoing partnerships with organizations like Limited Run Games and iam8bit. While you wait for the Japanese giant to hopefully follow through with Limited Run Games, you can check out its current run of physical titles through this link.

If you want to know more about this and other announcements happening at E3 then be sure to check out our E3 2017 Coverage Hub.

Have you purchased physical copies of titles that were mainly released for digital? What would you like Limited Run Games to slap in a box for the PlayStation 4, Vita, and maybe even the Switch? Let us know in the comments section below!
