While House Flipper 2 has been released recently and has been generally well received, the developers at Frozen District aren't turning off the lights yet for the original 2018 game.
House Flipper is indeed still getting new content in the form of a DLC titled Dine Out, releasing at some point in 2024.
The DLC will allow players to renovate and flip restaurants, adding a lot of new content to the game.
Specifically, here's what will be included in Dine Out.
- 10 engaging and immersive quests
- 10 houses to renovate and decorate
- 30 dishes from around the world to prepare
- The ability to rent out restaurants, offices and houses
- New, more precise tool for furniture grid measurement system!
- The ability to decorate kitchen tables with tablecloths
- The ability to design your own advertising signs
- Over 800 new items
That's certainly not bad for a game that's now nearly 6 years old but still retains a loyal fanbase.

Frozen District revealed a roadmap for the franchise a few weeks ago, mentioning that both House Flipper and House Flipper 2 would be developed in parallel for the time being. Both games will receive the traditional April Fools update, and both games will receive a content update in June.
The first expansion DLC for the sequel is scheduled to be announced this year, but for now, we don't know what it'll be all about. A console release is also coming for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this month, on March 21.
The original House Flipper is now available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, on top of mobile (both iOS and Android).
