With winter approaching quickly, Black Friday and Cyber Monday right around the corner, and holiday shopping season 2014 about to go full throttle, all the latest and greatest technology products are out. Like the few crazy people who camp outside the stores 2 weeks before Black Friday, some companies are beating the rush by releasing their great deals a bit earlier than the rest.

We’ll go through this list being sorted by the category of the item.

Computers:

asus

First up we have the Asus ROG GL551JK-EH71 gaming laptop. Putting the usual arguments about gaming laptops aside, it’s sporting an i7 processor, GTX 850m with 2GB of video memory, 12 gigs of RAM, and a decent 1920x1080p display. By no means a monster rig, it’s a decent entry-level machine that should run almost any game out there at a reasonable level, some at 1080p even. It goes without saying that this can run any desktop use flawlessly.

It’ll set you back $879.99, you can pick it up HERE:

If you’re in the market for a more basic laptop, there’s this $250 laptop by Asus. A weaker i3 processor, lower-definition display, and 4GB of RAM are the obvious downsides, but it should run normal desktop operations very well. In essence it’s a low-end computer for an entry-level price.

You can grab it HERE:

amd

Next we have AMD FX-8350 8-core desktop processor. At $149.99 with a savings of $30, it’s not the hottest deal out there, but it overclocks fairly well and solid overall. Would work great in any medium-power rig. Unfortunately it does not cook you a delicious breakfast, much to the disappointment of the Newegg reviewers.

If you feel you need this in your life, you can buy one HERE:

Monitors and TVs:

monoprice

Here is a 27-inch, 1440p, IPS, LED monitor. It’s sporting built-in stereo speakers, great viewing angles and above-average brightness. For gaming, it’s got a 6ms response time and runs at 60hz. The display itself is grade A-1, meaning it has no imperfections like backlight bleeding or dead pixels, and very close to perfect. At $300, it’s a huge savings over the regular price of $460 at Monoprice.

You can check it out HERE:

This is a 60-inch 1080p LED TV by Sony. It’s got a 60hz refresh rate with software technology to give the illusion of a higher refresh rate. Most importantly, it’s just under $650, a great price for 60-inch TVs from a decent name brand.

The big deals aren’t quite here yet, so don’t worry about the small selection. As Black Friday approaches we will soon be swarmed with an immense selection of computers and other gadgets to blow our disposable income on, so stay tuned.
