The Wardlings - Roll20

Renegade Game Studios are bringing their child-friendly tabletop RPG, The Wardlings, to the online RPG system Roll20 this Thursday 21st January 2020. The Wardlings is a perfect introductory roleplaying system that can introduce kids from as young as 10 to the world of tabletop gaming.

What is The Wardlings?

The Wardlings was originally a line of miniatures intended to get kids into wargaming at a younger age than other systems would allow. Since then, it has expanded into an entire system that includes an adaptation of the Dungeons & Dragons 5E rules. It's this new edition that will be making its way to Roll20, making it available for users to play together online during the ongoing pandemic.

The settings of The Wardlings is unique to the game. It takes place in a land called Or'Mya, a place where children are born with the ability to see magical things and events happening around them, but adults lose the ability. Thus, children are the saviors of the land and must go on epic adventures to save the world from dangers that only they can perceive. The new rulebook includes guides on how to create your characters, as well as how to run adventures in the land of Or'Mya.

Roll20 Is A Perfect Place For Gaming

Roll20 is the internet's number 1 place to play tabletop RPGs online with your friends. It provides a suite of different tools to make running online games much easier, from mapping software to group chat functions. You can even access resources for the games your playing like handbooks and guides, which is presumably what will be included in the package when The Wardlings releases on the platform on Thursday.

You can find out more about The Wardlings at Renegade's website right now, and check out Roll20 on Thursday for the game once it's finally released.
