New information has arrived for Arks of Omen: Farsight. This campaign book is the fourth chapter in the latest event of Warhammer 40,000. These campaign books have introduced new characters like Vashtorr The Arkifane, as well as the new Boarding Actions game mode. This latest book continues the ongoing narrative, as well as introduces new rules and stratagems for certain armies.
The Arks of Omen: Farsight preview
According to a Warhammer-Community post, Arks of Omen: Farsight will spotlight Commander Farsight of the T'au Empire. While attempting to end the War of Dakka against Ork WarBoss Grog on the dead planet of Arthas Moloch, the Commander's whole operation is thrown into disarray by the arrival of the Unhallowed space hulk and the Balefleet Entourage.
In addition to new campaign missions, Arks of Omen: Farsight will contain new rules for Boarding Actions. In addition to brand new stratagems and enhancements for the T'au Empire, Asuryani and Ynnari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and Adepta Sororitas crews, the book will also contain new multiplayer rules for Boarding Actions. Now three or four players can enter the battlefield, either in teams or in frantic free-for-alls.
Naturally, the release of Arks of Omen: Farsight will include new Boarding Patrol sets. Boarding Patrol: T'au Empire sets will contain a model for the titular Commander Farsight as well as three Crisis battlesuits, 10 fire warriors, and a small shoal of drones. This set of units can be bought separately or as part of a bundle which includes the campaign book, the models, a set of Farsight Enclaves dice, and an exclusive art print of Commander Farsight signed by the artist. Another notable set of miniatures includes Boarding Patrol: Orks, which features a set of sneaky Orks. The pack will contain the new Kommando Boss Snikrot as well as five Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, 10 Kommandos, a Kommando Grot, and a Bomb Squig.
The Arks of Omen: Farsight campaign book will be available for pre-order this Saturday.
